The First Lady received some very exclusive public birthday greetings today — her 50th birthday — including messages from such varied luminaries as Justin Timberlake, Bill Clinton,
the cast ofSesame Street, and that guy up there. Michelle treated herself to an AARP card to kick things off, but the good stuff comes on Saturday — tweets today, party tomorrow.
"The president has been involved in the planning," CBS reports. "Officials are keeping a lid on party details, but guests have been told to come prepared to dance." Both Beyoncé and Adele have been rumored as performers, but Barack karaoke would probably do.
No food, though: "Guests have been instructed to practice their dance moves, wear comfortable shoes, and eat before they arrive."
