Nigerian actors and actresses are using their star power for a good cause.
Yesterday, Thursday 23rd January 2014, the Nollywood stars mostly from the Yoruba-speaking section of the movie industry, took to the streets of Lagos to march against domestic violence and jungle justice in Nigeria.
Some of the stars present include Fathia Balogun, Ronke Oshodi, Foluke Daramola, Yomi Fashlanso, Moji Olaiya, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe and Ayo Adesanya. They marched alongside some school children.
The movie stars condemned jungle justice; speaking on the case of three women who were tortured and sodomized for allegedly stealing pepper at Ejigbo Market.
