All that Thor swag is going to come in handy.
Chris Hemsworth, 30, and Elsa Pataky, 37, have welcomed twin boys, a rep for Hemsworth confirms to USA TODAY. Pataky gave birth to twins early Friday morning at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The couple married in 2010 and also have a 22-month-old daughter, India Rose. Hemsworth and his wife recently walked the Oscars red carpet together (he presented), with Pataky's baby bump swathed in a sparkly green Elie Saab gown.
At the Toronto Film Festival last fall, Hemsworth gushed over fatherhood to USA TODAY, saying he was grateful that his family could travel the world with him while he shot films like Rush and Avengers 2.
"Thankfully, my wife has been able to come with me with our daughter, and I still get to see them. It would be tough if we were on different sides of the world," he said. His daughter, India, he added, was changing "every couple of days. And you think, 'Oh, wow, I'm as impressed as I can be.' Nope, the next day they're doing something new that you fall in love with."
Congratulations to the expanding family!
