281 Fake NYSC Members Kicked Out Of Orientation Camp
The National Youth Service Corps in Niger State has identified and subsequently kicked out 281 fake corps members from the orientation camp.
The State’s coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Mr Stephen Ehoda-adi disclosed this while speaking to journalists shortly after 2014 Batch ‘B’ orientation exercise that took place in Paiko.
He said that the 281 fake corps members were unable to present their call-up letters, and were subsequently thrown out of the camp
Ehoda-adi also added that those affected had nothing to show as having qualified for admission into the camp.
The coordinator revealed that some of the fake corps members claimed that they misplaced their call-up letterswhen they were attacked by armed robbers on their way to the camp, while some only came to the camp withphotocopies of their letters, which were unacceptable.

But 10-year-old Noah Cordle, a visitor from Virginia,found something truly extraordinary: a 10,000-year-old Paleoindian arrow point. Ancient Native Americans used such arrows to spear fish and to hunt mastodon.
Last week, the arrow clunked against Noah's leg as he stood at the edge of the surf in Beach Haven. It was still sharp enough to hurt.
"I thought it was a crab," Noah said.
When he picked up the pointy, black, 2.5-inch object, he figured he better show it to his parents, Andrea and Brian Cordle. His 6-year-old sister, Natalie, was unimpressed. But his parents were excited.
His mother contacted Greg Lattanzi, president of the Archaeological Society of New Jersey and assistant curator of the archeology and ethnography bureau of the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton.
"I was basically blown away," Lattanzi said. "Finding these points is rare."

Woman Caught With Cannabis At Lagos Airport (PICTURED)
She was caught at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos, during outward screening of China-bound Ethiopian Airlines’ passengers for allegedly attempting to smuggle 6.200 kilogrammes of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis.
The agency’s Airport Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, said the suspect told the officers that her bags containedvegetables and foodstuff.

Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, Lagos have smashed a syndicate that specialize in selling human parts, Vanguard reports.
