ATLANTA — Emory University Hospital announced that it will discharge later Thursday American Ebola patients Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol.
Dr. Bruce Ribner, medical director of the hospital's Infectious Disease Unit, will discuss the decision to release the patients during a press conference at 11 a.m. ET in Atlanta.
The hospital said Brantly will be present at the conference and is expected to make a statement. He is not expected to answer any questions.
