Simple Minds, best known for its 1985 hit (Don't You) Forget About Me from the film The Breakfast Club, returns Nov. 4 with Big Music.
It's the first new album in five years for the Scottish quintet, which still features founding frontman Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill.
The group already has released a video for the album's first single, Honest Town, written with Chvrches' Iain Cook.
The album also includes a cover of Let the Day Begin in tribute to that band's frontman Michael Been, who died in 2010.
The band, which plans a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom in 2015, has posted a preview of the album on SoundCloud.
