Bassey Micheal is the Face of 'I AM FASHION' BENEFIT EVENT

It is with great pleasure that we announce Big Brother Africa's Bassey Michael as the face of 'I AM FASHION' Fashion & Arts Benefit Exhibition Gala themed 'The Silent Voices' which will hold on 30th of May, 2013 in Abuja.We are glad to have Bassey Michael lend his voice and face to a worthy cause like this.
'I Am Fashion' is an exhibition centred around issues of Art education, self-identity, self-respect and love for Nigerian Art and Artist today, using Art forms through a fashion platform as a vehicle to address the issues associated with art awareness.  Central to theexhibition are two  images of Chanel’s iconic little black dresses as a tribute to the title of the exhibition taken from Coco Chanel's famous saying, ‘I DO NOT DO FASHION, I AM FASHION’


The exhibition will span over 2,000 square feet and include exceptional photography,  Master-piece designs and paintings from 15 designers, photographers and painters, with some pieces to be sold at a silent auction during the exhibition. Proceeds from the silentauction will be used to support arts education in rural communities within the FCT, through our collaboration with the registered non-profit organisation Nigeria Reads, which has been responsible for building and creating libraries and art clubs within rural Abuja.
