5 things you need to know Monday

1. Oscar Pistorius murder trial resumes
The Oscar Pistorius murder trial resumed Monday after being postponed while the Olympics double amputee underwent a month long psychiatric evaluation. Experts concluded that Pistorius was not mentally ill when he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year.
2. Pippa Middleton gives first TV interview
The famous sis to Duchess Kate sat down with Matt Lauer for an interview in London, and the exclusive will air in two parts — on Today on Monday and Tuesday. What will Pippa be piping up about? Probably her recent 3,000-mile, 12-state bike trip for Bike Across America, and maybe a little bit about life in the royal spotlight.
3. Supreme Court to hand down decision in Hobby Lobby case
The justices will rule on Monday on a closely watched case that looks at the part of Obama's health care law that mandates most employers provide health insurance coverage for contraceptives. For-profit companies with religious objections are challenging. The administration has exempted churches and religious non-profits from the requirement, and the companies contend that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act protects them as well.
4. One year ago 19 Ariz. firefighters died in massive wildfire
Friends and loved ones of the Granite Mountain hotshots will gather at a memorialbuilt to the 19 men who perished in the Yarnell Hill Fire, joined by firefighters from across the state. They will share stories and memories of men who lived together, worked together and faced their final fire together.
5. Forbes announces Celebrity 100 list
Forbes' 15th annual Celebrity 100 ranking of the world's most powerful celebrities is out Monday. The list measures money and fame, including estimated earnings over the last 12 months, and how often each celebrity is mentioned in print, on TV and in social media. Oprah topped last year's list.
And, the essentials:
Weather: Expect hot weather in the Southwest with temperatures above 100 on Monday, and a risk of severe weather in the Ohio Valley and across the Plains.
Stocks: Wall Street is looking at a lower open on Monday.
TV Tonight: 'Under the Dome' is back. What does our critic think?
