Emmy Rossum spills all about her first kiss with Harrison Ford

Emmy Rossum sure sparked some sizzle into the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday night when she announced that the next presenter had been her first kiss.

And she had been 10-years-old at the time.And the guy happened to be Harrison Ford, now 72. He is like 44 years older than Rossum, now 28.

That got ears perked up, for sure.

But the story took a turn for the odd (or adorable, depending on how you see it) when she explained that actually she was watching TV at the time and she leaned in to kiss Ford on the screen. “He didn’t know,” Rossum said.

“I got a static charge from the television. And I thought that’s what kissing must feel like,” she added.

So it’s true. But that’s what you call a surprise plot twist.

Ford took it all in stride when he took the stage.

“Thank you very much for a very weird introduction. I wish I had been there,” he said.

Ford went onto present the career achievement award to costume designer Aggie Guerard Rodgers
