Is romance on the cards for actors Jared Leto and Hollywood sensation Lupita Nyong'o?

Oscar has reportedly helped spark some chemistry between nominees Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o.Page Six reports that the 42-year-old rocker and the 30-year-old Hollywood newcomer were seen out sharing an intimate night out in New York on Wednesday.

The site reports they were seen sitting by themselves at a table at the intimate Crosby Street Hotel.

The source told Page Six: 'They were huddled at a corner table together looking very close.'

According to Page Six 'romance is blossoming' and they share 'off-screen chemistry'.

Jared and Lupita - who are nominated for Supporting Actor and Actress respectively - were in town for Fashion Week, with Lupita in particularly high demand for shows' front rows.

Already the pair have set tongues wagging during Award's season: 'The two have stayed close together at the Golden Globes and other events leading up to the March 2 Oscars. They even appear side-by-side on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue with Julia Roberts and George Clooney.'
