But David Beckham looked effortlessly stylish as he arrived at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to catch a flight back to the UK
The 38-year-old former footballer sported a dapper ensemble of a black leather jacket over a T-shirt, jeans andbrown boots as he strolled through the airport - a backpack casually slung over one shoulder
David finished off his look with a pair of aviator sunglasses and his trademark cap.
His appearance at the airport came after he was named underwear model of the century by fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
Speaking about the calibre of underwear models today, Tommy told TMZ.com: 'I’ve seen all kinds, to be honest with you.
We all wish we looked like David Beckham. At the end of the day he’s like the underwear model of the century.'
David previously modelled for Emporio Armani underwear, but is now more famous for showing off his own range for H&M.
And Nicolas Winding Refn, who directed one of the most recent campaigns for David's H&M collection, added of the star's appeal: 'David Beckham is an incredible, photogenic, personality.
'He’s a magnet. You very much move towards him.'
